This study shines some light on something I've wondered about for a while. Have you ever known someone who is really into believing that everything happens for a reason and reframing events to emphasize the good, yet is still a bundle of unhappiness and anxiety? Clearly all that cognitive effort is not paying off for them. Turns out they're not alone.
